The Importance of Backup


Backup means coping data from one storage media to another for security reason. But among the all other action backup is the most neglected one. We can think several reason for this.

Like:
  • lack of awerness
  • negligence
  • they think that there machine will never be effected by virus trojan which can cause impotent data loss.
  • and many other reason
There may be several reason for which we can lose data
  • damage of herd disk
  • attack of virus
  • some improper action
  • and so on
I want to share a small story. This happen with me. A silly reason and I lost all my contact from my mobile phone. Actually I had activated my mobile tracker software that supplied with my mobile set. Now I want to change my connection. To insert new sim to mobile I need the mobile tracker password. So I went to mobile servicing center. Where they reinstall the mobile software. Though I have copied the contact to my sim from my mobile till I lost half of my contact. But thanks god that I had back up of my all contacts. Though it takes few days to restore the backup, as I didn't know how to restore it. But I was not wearied because I know I had backup and I can restore it at least manually. I realize the importance of backup and I am going to take backup of all my importent document. What about you?
Create Backup if you don't want to lose your impotent data.

Changing caption width in latex

In this post I will discuss how to change the width of the figure caption. You can use the same technique to change the width of the other caption (like table caption). Here I am using the caption package. In caption package you can specify the width while loading the package or latter using \captionsetup command. Subtitle in latex

There is no direct command to define subtitle in latex. But you can define the \subtitle command using titling package. To do this just insert the following code in the preamble of the latex file. \usepackage{titling} \newcommand{\subtitle}[1]{%   \posttitle{%     \par\end{center}     \begin{center}\large#1\end{center}     \vskip0.5em}% } And then you can define subtitle using the following command. \subtitle{Subtitle Here} This will show the subtitle bellow your title when you use \maketitle command. Send in Email in Background in Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is one of the best email client available for Windows, Linux and Mac. Here I will tell how to send email in background in Thunderbird, so that when you send any mail that irritating "sending email" popup will not come out in front of you. First go to Preferences window: In windows: tools>options In linux: Edit>preferences Now go to Advance tab > General   and click on Config Editor Button, When asked click on I'll be careful, I promise button.  Then search for mailnews.sendinBackground and then select it. Then right click and toggle it to true. Now Thunderbird should send your email in background. You may need to restart the Thunderbird. Cheers A.Paul
