installing language pack from command line

To install language from terminal you have to first know the code for the language (for example bn is code for Bengali and hi is the code for Hindi).

Now first install the basic language packages for your desktop using the following code:

sudo apt-get install language-pack-[cod] language-pack-gnome-[cod] language-pack-[cod]-base language-pack-gnome-[cod]-base

It is not still done, because every other software may have its won language pack. To know which more package you have to install more you can use the following command

check-language-support -l [cod]
And then install those packages also.



Example:

Suppose you want to install language pack for Bengali, so first run the command

sudo apt-get install language-pack-bn language-pack-gnome-bn language-pack-bn-base language-pack-gnome-bn-base
Then run

check-language-support -l bn
And then from list install language packs for all applications.

Subtitle in latex

There is no direct command to define subtitle in latex. But you can define the \subtitle command using titling package. To do this just insert the following code in the preamble of the latex file. \usepackage{titling} \newcommand{\subtitle}[1]{%   \posttitle{%     \par\end{center}     \begin{center}\large#1\end{center}     \vskip0.5em}% } And then you can define subtitle using the following command. \subtitle{Subtitle Here} This will show the subtitle bellow your title when you use \maketitle command. Send in Email in Background in Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is one of the best email client available for Windows, Linux and Mac. Here I will tell how to send email in background in Thunderbird, so that when you send any mail that irritating "sending email" popup will not come out in front of you. First go to Preferences window: In windows: tools>options In linux: Edit>preferences Now go to Advance tab > General   and click on Config Editor Button, When asked click on I'll be careful, I promise button.  Then search for mailnews.sendinBackground and then select it.
